You've been doing WHAT?????

Ok, I'll admit it- I've been Knitting!
There, I've said it. It's out in the open now. And theres no taking it back!

Actually, this isnt my first foray over to the "other side", I actually learned to knit years ago- as a child, BEFORE I even learned crochet! After several lopsided scarves and sad attempts at afghan squares, I put my knitting needles aside for crochet. I have continued to develop my crochet skills over the years, learning to follow patterns, etc. But back in the corner of my mind (and sewing basket) there always were those needles- taunting me...daring to give them another try. I have always been the type of person that refuses to admit that I "cant do" something...that something has gotten the best of me... so finally, I took out those needles and showed them "whose boss"! Within a weekend I had several cast on techniques down, the knit and purl stitch, my cast off and I even tried my hand with the circulars!!! I even maintained a consistant tension after the first day, so I was extrememly satisfied with my progress!

Unfortunately my need for perfection has gotten the better of me- as I have found frogging to be much trickier in knit than in crochet! Needless to say I dont have a FO to share because of my failed attempts to correct mistakes... If anyone has any tutorials or ideas about how to frog without twisting and making an even bigger mess- I would appreciate it! LOL! Actually, I know it is merely a matter of "reading" the stitches- trying to figure out the front and back loops etc when placing them back on the needle- but that seems pretty tricky especially when using a complicated stitch...hmmm Id love to hear any tips!
